How did you determine your breed that you associate with?

[box] EJ: I’m about 6’4 and have a very “dopey” walk, Great Dane was truest to that [/box]
[box]TA: 6’4 here. Dalmatian [/box]
[box]MS: I like cold weather, and I like huskies. I’m also very social and pack oriented, so it worked. [/box]
[box]CM: I love Dobermans. I relate to them. They are big and loyal but aggressive when needed. They can also be trained easily. Just like me. [/box]
[box]ST: Being a foxsky (fox/husky) in the furry realm, I felt it natural to keep the same as my pup self since I identify with personality traits from both anyways on the furry side as well [/box]
[box]NW: My first doggie petey. Half pitt, half lab mix. Beautiful dog just like me in waaaay too many ways [/box]
[box]PC: Beagle, I am learning, I’m always playful, lovable, and love food but try to stay active and always on the hunt [/box]
[box]MA: I was raised by a husky or is that the other way around …. not sure anymore [/box]
[box]DE: Well for me I’ve always loved wolves. Also I got named L because of the massive changes I’ve been through, and I’m a pack animal, very protective, fierce, loyal to those who earn it, but I’ll eat the face off anyone who doesn’t. Basically a wild pup. [/box]
[box]MD: Malamute. Strong. Loyal and a bit stupid. [/box]
[box]ZS: Pitbull/border Collie mix Strong and stocky but also very smart. Loving always but aggressive and protective when I’m needed to be. [/box]
[box]KC: I like it warm I love fire Love helping people I’m a Dalmatian [/box]
[box]RK: Hmm id have pegged ya as a Chihuahua [/box]
[box]TJ: I actually didn’t have any idea what breed I was. But after talking to friends and my alpha, I noticed the resemblance between me and my breed which is a German Shepherd. It’d hard by on seen when I’m out if pup space, but from what people say when they see it, I act just like one. [/box]
[box]JB: I have always been a wolf [/box]
[box]MB: My Alpha chose mine based on my personality traits. German Shepherd [/box]
[box]SP: I had a hell of time picking my name, but then when I remembered my favorite Dog breed and it fit, plus we both have Mohawks! And I became Pup after the Xoloitzcuintli…..and we got big ears LoL [/box]
[box]C: Key I identify as a Bull Misfiff who thinks he is a Chihuahua [/box]
[box]MB: I used to think I was a pitbull but I’m an Chihuahua, I’m playful, hyperactive, protective and I can’t stand the cold. I shiver easily. [/box]
[box]BK: By my personality and demeanor. Short but bulky and powerful, large and heavy, headstrong and at times aggressive. Protective, territorial, undyingly loyal, independent, fun, loving, and snuggly. Pitbull/bully rottie mix. [/box]
[box]BP: I made up my breed… [/box]
[box]AK: Still trying to figure mine out. I’ve not yet met a bio-pup with a identifiably similar demeanor. Poking around online, I saw the Clumber Spaniel and have decided I need to meet one to see how familiar it seems. That said, TC makes a great point about puppies being puppies — even bio-pups don’t show all their breed’s traits right away. Identifying as a pup doesn’t require a breed association, really. I’m with S above: Had a hell of a time picking my name, so I’ll give myself time before worrying much about a breed. Besides, I started with the pup thing only 10 months ago (in people months). I’ve got time. [/box]
[box]JM: I was meditating one day and saw a golden retriever puppy running toward me. When it would have hit me, I snapped out of it and just knew [/box]
[box]AN: I was raised with black labs my parents bred them so i took on their likeness being in the kennel all the time. I knew they was my soul [/box]
[box]JG: Volunteering at my local animal shelter and interacting with lots of biopups, hence I seem to be a pitbull/husky [/box]
[box]MS: Aroooo! *husky wags* [/box]
[box]PS: My personality traits [/box]
[box]BM: The moon I love the full moon and I have the protection thing so wolf pup [/box]
[box]JA: My personality and a German Shepard meshes perfectly. [/box]
[box]LL: I’m a St Bernard, it’s just the traits that I and a St Bernard share [/box]
[box]MB: When I started as a leather pup , I was pegged as a wolf. I still am. Even though I’m a Sir now, I still am wolf through and through. Predator. Nurturer. Protector. [/box]
[box]RD: Labrador, because I’m fun, playful, friendly and I like food. Also grew up with labs. [/box]
[box]JY: As a part time drag performer that’s a bit of a femme at times but also covered in hair everywhere on my body (except my head) plus the fact that I can quite social and very well mannered, the Labradoodle mix seemed just perfect for me. [/box]
[box]HV: My Alpha determined my breed based on my personality. (Blue heeler). [/box]
[box]TH: My Master would throw out a thought from time to time. But usually, it was not the right one. Then, one day, he presented German Shepard. I had to own it. Yep. That’s me. [/box]
[box]DH: I’m a St. Bermastiff (St. Bernard/Mastiff mix). Mostly, my size, demeanor, personality. Sometimes I’m more Bernie and sometimes I’m more Mastiff. You never know what you’re gonna get from a mixed breed. Arroooouu!!!! [/box]
[box]ER: Personality, playfulness, cuddly, take charge, take care of others, hair. ..I’m a golden retreiver [/box]
